Dr. Marilyn Strada is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Nevada (PY0811). She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Chapman University in Orange, California and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Strada obtained her Masters and Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with the support of prestigious university awards, as well as awards from the American Psychological Association and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration.

Dr. Strada has worked with adults in both the public and private sectors, and with a wide range of mental health issues, providing psychotherapy and conducting psychological and neurocognitive evaluations. She is a published author in the area of addictive behaviors, treatment compliance, and adaptation of treatment for diverse populations. She has taught university courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels and has been a mentor to trainees in the fields of psychology and marriage and family therapy. 

Dr. Strada is a member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology and the American Psychological Association. 

Her specialties are as follows: 

• Neurocognitive Assessment: Dr. Strada conducts neurocognitive evaluations of adult patients with brain disorders, such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, brain injury, and spinal cord injury. She also conducts surgical clearance evaluations for individuals considering deep brain stimulation.  

• Psychotherapy: Dr. Strada is not currently taking new psychotherapy patients.
